Market Street in San Francisco is undergoing a car road diet.
Over the past month, the City has limited private auto traffic to create a more friendly environment for pedestrians, bicyclists, and public transit riders.
New colored pavement signals to people to respectfully share the road. This "sharrow" shared lane marking started in San Francisco.
