Ocean View

The first weekend in 2010 brought incredibly clear skies weather. That basically means a bike ride to Ocean Beach, which is about a 20 minute bike ride from my place.

The "One Less Car" tube top continues to get lots of attention from strangers who appreciate the simple message.

    Hey Dan, the bike looks great! Ever since I saw your Dec. 19th entry, titled Ocean Beach, I've been wanting to take a bike ride in the city. This entry is no different and has, in fact, inspired me to write to you.

    I live in Oakland and just got my Globe Roll 1 a little less than two months ago. I haven't taken it out on a long, fun ride yet--it's only been a to-work commuter thus far.

    Since many of my friends either don't have bikes or aren't up for a ride in San Francisco, I'm writing to ask if you'd want to ride together some time. We can e-mail and plan something. I'm just looking for people to ride with :-)

    I'm not sure how we can communicate...since I don't want to post my number or e-mail on here....
